I'll get off the train instead. I like this metaphor better. The train is mankind rolling straight towards its doom and the breaks aren't working anymore. People chit-chat in their compartments and are ignorant of the danger, and I don't know how to chit-chat and be ignorant. I'm getting off, but I'm not sure I've reached my final destination yet.
