jesus- how the hell did he get up there- weird how people heard noises at 1 but emergency services werent called for an hr and a half- its like that famous murder in the 60's that people then coined the term 'the bystander effect' after.

If anyone climbs anywhere relatively high off the ground they end up on the news here. That sort of thing is risky for that reason. We turn people's pain in to a spectacle, this is why jumping would never be an option for me. Not worth the judgment and bs being put in the spotlight that could potentially happen.
it must have been a suicide attempt anyways-what else was he doin up there anyways?! sounds like it didnt really go as planned thou, poor chap indeed :(
what I dont get is - surely if he got up there in the first place-it couldnt be that hard to get up there- there must have been a way! so why couldnt rescuers go up the same way, what a strange and mysterious news story it is
