See i just want a best friend.. so so badly, i never had any problems with making friends as a kid, but now nobody gives a fuck, everyones nonchalant, everyone lost their emotions, its like everyone cliques up and im just left in the outskirts. I want a best friend, i want to not kill myself, but its like... i know neither of those things will come true, im overly emotional, a burden, nobody will ever care enough, i cant clean i cant do anything of worth, i never will be worthy of any good, i wont even make it to 20 id bet.

Sometimes friendships and connections show up in really random places. As someone who had no friends, I made a really close friend (best friend?) in my mid 20s totally by chance at a public event...You never know where it might happen...

There are people that value thoughtfulness and sensitivity. You can make a friend someday. Just put yourself out there and do stuff not trying to make friends but for YOU

So much this. If you make friends simply because you want to have them, you run the risk of being dishonest to yourself and to them. You may, unknowingly, twist how you present yourself, put on mask, be the person that you think they want to be friends with. That only leads to sadness. Real connections can only form with honesty to yourself and to the other party. Go out there as YOU, and you will eventually find the people who deserve you. Speaking personally, it's better than finding friendships by putting up pretences, then when your life begins to crumble from within, discovering that the 'friends' you had made never really knew you and weren't interested in supporting you at your worst.

I hope that if the desire to form friendships remains within you, you can be yourself and find those who appreciate you for everything you are. I wish you all the best, OP.
