I wish i could get over it. its been awhile but i still get flashbacks and panic attacks, about it. i feel like it dosnt really matter as much because i never told anyone what kept happening and then something different happend and its been over a year and i still cant be around loud noises. i hate it

I'm sorry. People definitely tend to underestimate the effects of trauma and only being told to "get over it" is why I decided to keep it to myself. There just isn't really a lot of patience for people still being affected by past experiences. But that's just my experience. It's really tough having to bear such pain alone. Do you think it's worth confiding in someone, whether someone in your personal life or a professional?

That sounds really awful what you have to go through, the reality is that existing certainly can be torture as there is no real relief from suffering as long as one exists here. It's just so incredibly unfair how people have to suffer all through no fault of their own.
