I mistyped the URL a minute ago, using that site instead of the correct one. The site immediately started downloading an add-on to FireFox. In any event I'm gonna uninstall and reinstall FF, even though I can't see that anything installed. I do use a User ID and not an Admin ID on Windows for most browsing, so I get prompted to enter a password before anything installs. (Best I can do, too old and too tech illiterate to figure out Linux at this point in my life.)
In any event, fuck these people and the horse they rode in on. As if I wasn't already paranoid enough.
