I drank the tea, cut myself then sadly backed out and called the ambulance. I regret that so much. In the hospital the staff was nice but they had to clean my stomach it was insanely uncomfortable. After that 2 weeks in the psych ward and only now do I have my phone back. The only symptoms I had was shaking and slight dizziness and thats it. No pain. Probably also didn't take enough so yeah I need a higher dose next time

So sorry to hear you had to go through the hospital and the ward.
I really hope you are fine now, with no permanent damage, that's the most important thing.
There is always plenty of time try to CTB again, or recover.
I wish you all the best!

You don't mind sharing how much yew neddles you used and that?
Did you consume the remnants of the yew neddles in the tea?
What season it is for you etc. It would be good to know.
Generally if done correctly it should work and from all the reports there is no antidote for it or that.

im so sorry u went through that! u are not a coward and its okay to feel disappointed but dont punish yourself for ypur body kicking into survival mode, its natural but mby this is a sign u can try getting help, if this isnt an option u like. u can always do as much research as possible keep your mind at ease and if u try again i would suggest taking anxiety relieving medication beforehand:) i hope u are okay now!

I wonder if you used the wrong type of yew tree as there are some with less poison but should all kill you in the end though.
Maybe the old guide on the yew tea is bad and that using the oven to dry the needles may end up somehow damaging the poison in it but I am unsure.
Wish I could be of more help. Sorry

I used 11g of needles, drank all the tea (it was a normal cup of tea) and ate half the needles cuz it was too hard to swalloe

Oh, from the original method it was 100g of needles and you use a coffee grinder to make it into a complete powder making it easy to drink.
It is called yew tea because the yew ground up needles are made like a tea into the water.
They need to be dried in the oven at a lowish temperature to dry them making it easier to grind too.
There have been reported deaths from it so it must work. But failure might be in the mid ground of it I guess.

Was it painful? I'm sorry for your discomfort... I hope you feel better soon. Maybe that other person is right. You survived for a reason, good things are coming your way.

Have you heard of any others? The tea sounds extremely interesting to me.

I'vre tried this several times. Both as tea and raw dried yew. Raw dried yew works much better. But even then only one time of eating 22-34g almost killed me. And I ate those doses 4-6 times.

Its unpredictable. Sometimes you almost die. Other times you're fine. One time just the fumes make you feel like being put under in a bad way for days. My body can't handle the association of the poison and the taste anymore after 20-30 tries
