Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I am planning on ctb in a few months.
I prefer to ctb and be dead forever than living and being poor and with no gf which is what my future holds at 26.

I hear you, and it would be important to have the right partner too. Sometimes a person is better off single than with a inappropriate, significant other.
There are probably a healthy amount of men/women that wish they were single so you never can assume a partner will fix everything. Irregardless, I understand brother and I hope you find what you are looking for whether that's living or something else.
Hugs!

As for me...I just don't want to be anymore, I never asked to exist and now I wish I didn't, at least then I'd have peace still but alas I'm forced to survive then die like the rest. Life is shit rich or not, alone or not, and I wouldn't say your wrong for wanting to die but from my perspective your reasons just aren't good enough

For 99.9% of the entire human population on Earth, life has been a miserable, horrible existence. The idea of happiness is a commercial idea, designed to make humans spend more, consume and want more. It's a con.

I haven't a clue. I was PM'ing with him a few hours ago and it seemed civil. If anyone knows, I'd be curious, too.
A-hah! In one post to me he declared himself from the US, but later in the conversation he declared himself from Israel. I actually didn't notice, since it wasn't important to the conversation, but I'd say that pretty definitively pegs him as some flavor of scammer. I'd wager he overplayed his hand with someone else.

I had a similar thread with SuicidalSoldier --now also banned-- where she(?) chatted me up and then asked for $3K to help her get from Israel to the US. That's when I reported the thread to the Mods.
There's definitely a reason the Mods come down hard on anyone asking for anything here!
So has anyone else here had trouble with scammers claiming to be from Israel? I don't want to point political fingers, but the coincidence seems a bit... strong.

Gotcha in his PM to me, he said he was from Italy!!! My screen name is a reference to an Italian soccer player so he must have thought i Italian. Yes, he looks to be a scammer.... good job on banning him. But afraid he'll be back with a different screenname

One of my favorite proverbs: "Where there are ships, there are pirates." Maybe the scammer population has jumped in the last few weeks since I signed on here, but the waters are looking distinctly dangerous, of late.
I'm fascinated that the two scammers who tried to work me via PM have both tried to present as from Israel. What's with that? Does my screen name have some Israeli reference I'm unaware of?

Yes, that is me alright. I feel exactly the same. Even if some people say "oh but it's not like the ancient days where you had to fight off animals just to get a feed and to daily survive" I'm still like to them "yeah, but i'd not be homeless on the street either thanks or still stuck in this crappy service job i do". Maybe i'm just, selfish.

I liked the Suicidal_Soldier one, mainly because her girlfriend joined up the following day and continued with the same theme.
I'm actually jealous that you get such a level of intrigue in your PMs. I'm still getting the entry-level TELL ME WHEERE IS N junk mail and very little else.

That's particularly lazy. I mean, they could at least *pretend* they have some N for sale, surely that's textbook?
Having said that, fair play to Daystavro for spending enough time and effort into cultivating his sophisticated profile here, lulling us all in to a false sense of security by posting "when ur dead ur dead forever unless ur alive still" on a daily basis for several weeks shows genuine commitment to the cause.

Bummer. Though I'm really, really pissed at SuicidalSoldier: I came home really ready to ctb to find her PM asking for moral support, and stalled on putting the bag on my head because I felt a responsibility to help somehow. Dumb, dumb, dumb. It turns out to be a scam and I flinched another attempt. I'm furious with the scammer and with myself.
Daystavo never got to the point of asking me for anything, but he was definitely starting to work me for info. My spidey sense had just started to tingle when I discovered he'd been banned.

i'm going to give a suspicious eye to anyone new on here who claims to be poor, homeless and in a hopeless financial situation. I'm sure there are real people on here that are in terrible financial situations but ive got to be careful with so many scammers out there.

Being poor is the worst I can attest to that I just had to sell my car a few weeks back and get back on welfare, driving around in my car anywhere I like at any time was one of my last copes..

Broke af and facing homelessness. While I respect an individual's ability to make decisions for themselves, whether giving or receiving, I don't feel comfortable accepting anything financial. I have watched other members con people, just like people con others in the "real" world. It sucks. Predators everywhere; it gets fucking exhausting.
