every relationship is only transactional, there's no such thing as genuine or unconditional love, people cope everyday thinking one day they'll find the right person, no, nobody will.

most never love, or like the person, they like how that individual makes them feel, what they obtain

even sympathy, kindness, it's all to feed their ego, and feel better about themselves, it's never for you, humans are so, so, selfish, and i can't wait to die, maybe then i won't have to see disgusting people everyday

even if you're a son or daughter, you're only beneficial to your parents because biologically you bring the bloodline forward and supposedly care for them in future, and not put them in a nursing home.

Oh yeah, and many can't wait to kick you out the second you're 18... but also expect you to return once the nursery home is calling.

As someone AroAce, I cringe at like genuinely 70% of relationships, holy shit does that look unhealthy as fuck. So the only reason they're getting something and putting up with the relationship even if they are cheated on, beaten or verbally abused is because their brain gives them the signal to search for sex or romance at the cost of the most toxic pit of sewage I've ever seen? Sometimes I'm thankful to not have that drive in me.

I'm not sure what to label myself anymore, but I feel similarly. I don't think drive is entriely to blame, that would just free them from their responsibilities. But I hate how sex is like the make or break of a relationship. Your spouse/partner is supposed to be the one you love the most, who you cherish and care for... but no, your libido is too low, so I no longer love you. Huh????

I don't know how you can look at all the assorted human problems and not think humanity is anything other than pure dog shit. Actually, dog shit may have some use.

Been saying this for a while now... even the people who don't seem to be selfish and willing to trample over people to get ahead in their lives... even the more decent-seeming people... still only want surface level conversations and connections. Even if it isn't purely transactional for their personal gain... most people just don't want to dig deeper or give more of themselves or be vulnerable. And, in fairness, people who are vulnerable to see if anyone will respond... is often greeted by people who use that vulnerability to punish or exploit the person who was willing to give.

Surely there are good people who want deeper non-transactional connections... but where are they? And... our society does not reward such interactions... worse, society often punishes you for trying... so some people who want these things learn to hide and not try anymore even if it appears like someone has approached them genuinely.

I think good people are doomed... and the greater society is doomed eventually by the unsustainable world in which they all seem to want to exist.
