What should and are we exactly scared of? That person is fed up with life's injustice and lost their patience? No one's freedom is affected, no one hurt, even some are healed.

What I wish for is an acknowledgment that many people understand their own circumstances and futures, and shouldn't have to resort to desperate measures that might make their lives worse. I wish for options that don't force people to endlessly calculate ugly methods when they know what they want.

There is a horror element to it, the fact that nobody cares (in real life) but in fiction it is used as a shock element and suddenly everyone cares.
Humans love empathy in fiction and hate empathy in reality.

Amen 🙏

Suicide should be talked about irl like we talk about it on this forum. It shouldn't be this hard and complicated. Euthanasia should be legal everywhere.

It's because the influence of monotheist religions, where life belongs to Yahweh/Jehovah/Jesus/Allah etc. And not ours.
So a suicide is a "horror" situation because it breaks this principle.
But after society becomes more secular in some parts of the world, I hope there will be a generation when euthanasia or assisted suicide could be available without any excessive screenings.

"give them their roses while they're still here to smell them"

which then they will use that opportunity to bond with eachother and gain things from one another (FOR SOME FUCKING REASON), NOT ALL PEOPLE but too many.

What is the % of grieving parents that talk about the CHILD's grief and suffering and not about their own, what's the % of parents that talk about the ways they could have helped their child cope and not how they themselves cope now that the child is gone.

don't want to start any debate so I'll leave it here. most people have self interest, pleasure and ego in mind even in the darkest of moments, I can mention a couple of industries to prove this specific point...but again, I don't want to start anything so I'll leave it here.
