I don't want to die, i just want to stop living

So as the title says i found it, or at least i think i did.
Yesterday i tried it again with partial now actually using padding on the carotids (after a terrible failure a couple of months ago)

after getting comfortable kneeling down, rope as tight as it could get, i gently pushed down with my head. 5 seconds in (maybe?) aside from slight head pounding and pressure on my throat while still being able to breathe, i started feeling really really tingly on my limbs and it got me so damn scared i could not keep going.

Tried to keep myself on that position for a few tries until i heard my mother turn on the lights just outside my room, stopped and went to sleep.

So my question is: Does this tingly sensation mean i was actually stopping bloodflow on my brain or am i just dumb? because last time i could not feel anything like that.

I get the same feeling when I put pressure on my carotid arteries. I'm not sure if it is stopping the blood flow or not. I would assume so. When you faint, it is when blood can't get to your brain fast enough. So I would say yes, you are blocking blood flow to the brain. It's not a bad feeling. After you stop, it feels really peaceful, and my head feels disconnected from my body. I didn't practise partial. I practised ligature strangulation, but I think I'm going to go with partial. I think I'm going to cut my brachial artery beforehand, so I faint faster, and just for fun (not to kill me). Have you had any luck finding your sweet spot just using your fingers?
