I am 18 and I knew it would happen sometime. We've been talking and flirting for a while and I knew she had feelings for me but wanted to be sure.

And today she suddenly said be my boyfriend. I couldn't believe and asked if it is a joke. She said no and I accepted it. Then we chatted for a couple of hours about it and she seemed so happy, so was I.

She was acting cold and then her boyfriend contacted me. He was as shocked as I am. Then i texted her and called her dozens if times and she didn't respond for hours. Then I blocked her and she didn't try to contact me afterwards.

I don't feel that bad. Being in a relationship was a nice experience and I almost feel relieved. There was so many problems and lack of communication.

Nevertheless it boosted my confidence. Thank you all people.

Great mentality, never give yourself time to heal/grow and never appreciate the value of a deep connection with the opposite sex. "Being young and experimenting" can ONLY lead you to a fruitful and worthwhile relationship. My man!

When young, having different girl or boyfriends is fine. I have seen some folks who marry the 1st person that they date and 50 years later they are still married. Then the ones who have multiple girl/boyfriends and find the personality match. The most important aspect is when sitting across from the breakfast table can each other finish the other's sentences? If so, then a match.

Nothing is the same for anyone, test the waters, BUT make darn sure to use a condom please. It is not about paying child support or "having" to get married, it is about the poor soul that comes into this world, sometimes NOT wanted, as in my case growing up.

Explore and be oneself with lots of love and caring thoughts to you, as you are a fine young person who is learning, I did the same back in the 1970's, YIKES!
