Thinking about it, I probably do. Not mistaking condone for encourage of course. But, from a young age, when I saw characters in films etc. take their own lives, I tended to think- fair enough. They've had enough of the appalling circumstances in which they are living. It seems a reasonable choice they want out of them. Especially if they can't change them.
The bigger issue for me is who and why do people condemn suicide? Who do our lives belong to, if not us? Who has the right to have that power over us? I'm all for self choice. It's the one power we do have. Why should I live and die/ not die according to someone else's beliefs?
