Yeah this stumped me too. The only thing I can think of that is in glass jar but you don't take it out and has to do with heat is a candle LOL. I feel like it's a product I have never heard of.

Yeah, like CenturiesEnd said, consider what OP said about heat.
Also consider what OP said about it not necessarily needing to be removed from its container for its intended use — (yes i just used an em dash i will not let them take this from me) that's the smoking gun, if you will, that actually narrows it down a LOT.
And the third most important clue OP mentioned is that the store that sells it also sells something else that you can CTB with. When you figure it out you will be smacking yourself on the forehead and saying OF COURSE!
