There is tradition in Poland to give crosses or medallions with saints made from precious metals to boys and girls for first communion. Usually parents do IT but i thought IT will be good idea if my step brother will have something from me to remember me. I went to the oldest jeweler in Poland and bought cross with a chain both made from gold IT should last for many decades or even generations IT is very solid jewelery. Than i used half of my dog tag made from silver i wear and combined IT with cross and chain. There is my full name and my date of birth carved on a tag. The other half will go with me to the casket. I Hope this will be good memento for my brother and that by wearing it he will feel that i am close to him and will remember all good moments we had together. I Hope my step mother will give him it i will mark that this package is for him. I Hope they will find IT after discovering my body i will leave IT close to my corpse. What do you think. Do you plan to leave mementos for close one just like I did?

Very thoughtful gift. I hope your step brother treasures it and remembers you fondly. I'm not leaving anything for anyone specific since there's no one to leave anything to. Anything I have left money wise will go to a children's charity.
