Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

There was a recent article lamenting the fact that so many people today have become nihilistic and believe that life has no meaning. The article was in the Washington post and pointed to terrorist acts of people wanting to "hasten the end of society"

I don't want to hasten the end of society but I do want to hasten my end so that I don't have to interact with it. Anytime I pull back from individual events I find that life and the world have no meaning. In the wall of billions of people and all the needs and pushes for money and attention, I'm more positive than ever that I don't matter. And I don't want to matter.

Nihilism is the philosophy of nowadays because it portraits how exhausted and lonely we are as society. Maybe it is a symptom of digital revolution, or the result of fallen utopias - in the end, all resume to screens and a disenchanted world.

I'm not a nihilist per se, but i have no idea what's going on or what the fudge I'm doing in this meat suit. I'm surrounded by genocidal, violent, tribal chimps, who fight and bicker about race, religion, class, ethnicity, all day every day.

Does this make it hard to enjoy life? You bet it fudging does. Why would i want to meaningfully contribute to this clown show of a world?
