Method I am finding this Scba setup to be impossible. Would somebody knowledgeable please help or reach out?

I am feverish working on getting my Scba setup put together and I am running into issues. This is not me just being lazy unwilling to do the work. I have been researching to the point of tears. I have a nitrogen tank, allegro 9902 mask, airline and regulator. The airline is securing to the mask but I cannot get it to connect to the regulator. Below is pictures.

When you say not able to connect to the regulator, is it the airline shown in the image- whose end does not seem to be compatible with the nose of the regulator?
You might try taking the hose to a hardware store and look for an intermediary coupler sort of thing. Still some search online might help.

You can cut the fitting off the end of what you call the "air line" with a sharp utility knife The fitting on the flowmeter can be changed to a "barbed" fitting that matches the ID (inside diameter) of the hose where you cut off the fitting. Then the hose just pushes onto the barbed fitting and you secure it with a hoseclamp. You need to know the inside diameter of the hose so that you can get the correct size barbed fitting. You also need to know the thread size of the fitting that screws into the flowmeter.

It's easier than trying to find an adapter to connect your hose fitting to the outlet fitting of the flowmeter.
