Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Its so stupid, cuz I don't want to be alive at all.

I hate myself. I hate everything about me and my brain. I DONT want to be alive and i haven't for as long as i can remember.

But WHY am i so scared of death. First, i am afraid of the painful methods which are the most accessible path for me. Second, i am afraid of the afterlife. Id be happy with a dark quiet, or a reincarnation where i don't remember my past or anything. but the thought of existence after death where i remember my life sounds terrible.

How does one get over these fears? I just wanna ctb in peace.

I'm looking for the same thing, man. Just give me the courage to partial hang without the fear that God will punish me. The thought that I'll keep my soul, that the worm of conscience will never die, is terrifying beyond words.

For me, the best way to think about death is a concept by the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer:

Assuming the soul is immortal, then it must have been there before birth somehow. So, taking my life, I will just set my soul back to the state it had before life. I can't imagine that state, but it's nothing new.
From this perspective, the way of dying doesn't matter, because it's a general concept that applies to every human.

The logic is very convincing, and can act as a counterbalance to the strong emotions around death. But of course, they are not gone..
