Don't use the same username everywhere (so people can't just look you up and find you all over the place). Change it where you can and delete old accounts you're not using. Don't use the same profile pics or bios across accounts. Go through privacy/security settings and make sure you turn off any location stuff and turn off anything that lets you get suggested to phone contacts. Private EVERYTHING! Remove age, birthdays, your real name (obviously), etc. Clear all history, factory reset your computer.

A basic...clear browser history. Clear emails from trash and history.

what else should i do
i have months to prepare
Think about a user accounts you want to get rid of. I don't need to, mine are boring

And what about files, photos, any content you want to keep private. Clean those up. Google how to make sure they are gone for good.

Some people say to wipe your hard drive, I don't really have anything that needs to be that cleansed. But other people might give you more input.

You need to overwrite the HD if you want to be sure to erase everything. Just do the free space if you feel you might fail.

Not meaning to hijack OP's post, but does a factory reset of phone make all information and Google accounts linked unrecoverable/unassociated?

I would physically destroy hard disks. Just formatting still leaves the data on them.

I'm not sure, honestly. Interesting question. I think a factory reset does not overwrite the data but just declares it as empty, so I don't think that it makes it unrecoverable.
