I think i might try partial hang tonight and post again with the bruise to ask had i been there longer would have i died? If i feel like while i might actually die while doing it(if don't get flashbacks from the times i failed) i might continue till atlest i pass out..i have done some research into it but

Can you all suggest me something which might increase my success rate? And do i need to be alone?something to avoid?

I think the key points would be: be alone and not be interrupted, choose a position where you can apply your weight well, a self-tightening knot, a strong anchor point, and a good rope.

In my opinion, the threads created by user Evelyn Lane about hanging are the best.

It's not supposed to be painful and If you are doing multiple attempts you're not doing it right. I have had similar issues, but I have actually done it correctly once but SI kicked in. You need to place the knot near the angle of the mandible, which is the lower back corner of the jawbone just behind and slightly below the ear. It can be on either side. This location allows the noose to compress the carotid artery and vagus nerve effectively without crushing the trachea. Can also add padding near the knot where the most tension Is. (Find what feels most comfortable). Don't add padding around whole rope as it will just spread the pressure equally to whole neck causing choking sensation. I would do your own research but at the very least know It shouldn't be painful if done correctly.

Very interesting, the how-to-hang-yourself pdf seemed sure of itself when advising to use a 6'o'clock knot.
Unfortunate that I believe my SI is too strong for the partial hanging method, I've tried to marking levels but I never found the proper angle to actually pass out and the tourniquet scares me.
For reference nonetheless, does that me you'd be helped by angling your neck in such a way as to have your compressed artery be facing the ground?

The carotid arteries and vagus nerves are more accessible on the sides of the neck. Placing the knot behind the ear targets those structures more directly. This concentrated pressure leads to quicker results (unconsciousness in 10-15 sec) than an even 6 o'clock placement (unconsciousness 15-30 sec and some times longer), which can distribute the pressure too evenly and reduce effectiveness in low-drop scenarios and requires more weight. I'm underweight so I never had much success with 6 o'clock knot myself. But it can work for some.
