• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Drinking alcohol or becoming intoxicated in some way will reduce your survival instincts. However, it will also make it harder for you to carry out your method of choice, and it increases the chances that you get lifelong damage from an attempt. Life truly is a prison.

if you're struggling with SI, you should try and consider less "active" options (shooting yourself is much harder than drinking a salty beverage, lol). there are many types of SI: either you're still indecisive, or your body is protecting itself. if its the first, you should try and reduce the pressure you're putting on yourself. no matter the type of SI, pressure often makes CTB harder to accomplish.

I think what motivates someone is something beyond the action. You have to imagine a goal beyond and after the action. You have to convince yourself that there is no other choice, or that this action is a necessity. That after you would fly up into the sky like an angel. I know it sounds silly. But the reality is that fantasy is much more appealing. You have to imagine and remember of all the chains that would get torn off as a result of an action. You have to remember what you are trading. It's like a scale, when you remove the weight off of one side the other either balances or goes down. It's like the example of someone standing at the window of a burning building. There is a necessity of choice whether they endure a pain of slowly burning or have a chance at immediate relief with jumping out of the window.

i absolutely agree. especially if this (whatever they see afterlife as) is something they would prefer over life in general (not just their unfortunate circumstances). it makes it much easier, knowing that your afterlife is always there, an option. it just takes will, strength, or (often) luck to achieve. many people say that death follows the people that want to live. it takes a lot of grit to force death, meaning, you need a whole lot of motivation and willpower to achieve it.

dont just think about getting away from life, think about the peace and freedom of death, too.

I personally think pulling the trigger would be easier for me than drinking the salty beverage.

As much as I hate to say this take but I feel like the closer I get to the end of my life the easier it gets for me to end my life. I get more firm in my decision as each year passes by and it really is just the same old shit new day. I'm so sorry you are hurting none of us can truly say what will really help with your survival instinct but you aren't alone in your suffering at least. Almost 29 years of them for me.

Personally i realized that in order to be able to do it I have to kill my ego. I have this parasite inside my head that still believes im some sort of an mc. That i was promised a good life 3 billion years ago.
I neef to squash that thought w that belief.
Once i do it will feel much easier
