so ive researched enough, found partial hanging to be the most accesible method, practiced a few times and found it to work, but for some reason i cant finally follow through as when im almost passing out i find myself getting really scared and sitting up straight. I know its my survival instinct, but every day is so bad that i know i need to go. Is there anyway to maybe paralyze my lower body to avoid it sitting up, or be in a much calmer state of mind (without alcohol) or anything that would make it easier?

It's the same for me but my method is SN. Every time I'm about to drink it, I freeze up like a deer in headlights and I can't bring myself to. Heart starts pounding, SI kicks in full blast… It's such a fuck. I want to go badly as well, but my body is trapping me here. I wish I had some advice for you other than using substances to help numb the SI, but it's looking like that's the only way I'm gonna get over mine also. :/

no i can actually do it without my head feeling like that, it actually feels good if u master it. I heard that if you get that head feeling like its gonna explode sensation, u are compressing the wrong veins

the thing is, i found my sweet spot by just experimenting
i used the slip knot around my neck, and the bowman knot onto my shower rail. I then put the rope on different areas of my neck and leaned forward with my full weight. So my personal sweet spot is slightly under my adams apple where i can find a "groove" ,thats where i put my rope and when i push forward with my weight i find myself almost passing out within 5 seconds. When u find ur sweet spot, u should feel ur stomach drop first and then ur vision should start getting weird. It shouldnt be painful.

when i push forward with my weight i find myself almost passing out within 5 seconds. When u find ur sweet spot, u should feel ur stomach drop first and then ur vision should start getting weird. It shouldnt be painful.

I'm genuinely curious about your reasons for not considering full suspension, especially if you can pass out very easily. It wouldn't hurt much more, and it would be the simplest and most effective way to solve the issue you're dealing with.

Well 50% of the population don't have a prominent one at least… mine isn't visible at all
then ig somewhere around my voice box is where my personal sweet spot is, but ig its different for everyone
i found it by pure luck, i had tried everywhere, right under my jawline, the bottom of my neck, right at the middle. Then i tried once below my adams apple and i started passing out quickly
I'm genuinely curious about your reasons for not considering full suspension, especially if you can pass out very easily. It wouldn't hurt much more, and it would be the simplest and most effective way to solve the issue you're dealing with.
i considered it but my garage door beam which is the only way i could fully suspend myself isnt too high from the ground
