Once again I have to hand in a paper for college. I really like the lecturers he is a Marxist and I exactly know what he wants to hear. I am a good little comrade (despite the fact I don't actually want to abolish capitalism but I don't have to tell that lol).

He complimented me for my first paper. Especially, my writing style. My formulations are 99% my own. I Was curious and uploaded some paper from peers to AI detectors. 2 of them had 0% AI. 1 Was 91% AI. I think the person just copy pasted it.
Personally, my results are mixed some detectors say 100-95% human. There are others that say it is a mixture 50/50 AI human which resembles the actual truth.

Do you think my lecturer is smart enough to get that? I heard the feedback of some others and I had the best mark. The quality of their papers was rather poor.

The answer is don't use AI. Maybe it'll be a good tool in a decade but not now. It's unreliable and breeds dishonesty and ineptitude in academic settings.

AI detectors aren't reliable enough at the moment (too many false positives), if you know how to avoid things like tortured phrases and GPTisms giving your writing an LLM smell, you should be ok. paraphrasing and rewriting the generated parts helps a lot in that regard too.
