My previous attempt, which I blogged about, failed.

About four days later, I drank about two-thirds of a bottle of vodka without drinking anything and almost choked on my own vomit. That's the only thing I remember. The next day, I woke up dead tired and covered in vomit. I asked Chat GTP how much vodka I would need to drink to die, and he said, "2-2.5 bottles of 700ml 37.5%."
I think that's way more then I actually need

What do yall think?

Most time alcohol just makes you act more dumb and incoherent. You can black and and injury yourself. For the alcohol itself to kill you it would be like a failing liver just doing a lot probably won't kill you it's more likely you do something dumb while drunk and die. Your liver is made to keep you alive despite it yeah it'll have to be a harder drug I think

I'm pretty sure the lethal part of alcohol was the choking on your own vomit while passed out, not the alcohol itself.

In other words asphyxiation.

I may be wrong though. Need someone to actually double check.

Alcohol is actually kind of hard to die from, you'll pass out or throw up way before reaching a lethal dose (as you've already experienced), but basically if you can drink enough to reach a BAC of about (or over) 0,40 GRAMS/100 ml you should be able to CTB, and considering a standard drink raises it by about 0,02 and that a standard vodka (40%) drink is (I think) 45 ml, it would take you 900 ml to potentially be lethal... If it was 40% we were dealing with, but it's 37,5% and I'm too tired to adjest the math, but I don't think ChatGPT was too far off honestly, I think 1,5/2 bottles is where things start to get potentially life ending?

In theory, you can die from alcohol poisoning, but in practice it's really complicated, and you are more likely to "choke on your own vomit while passed out" 👍
