Discussion How long have you been suicidal?

I just found my neuropsych eval from middle school and apparently I said that I want to throw myself into a ravine

About 14 years of passive ideation gradually getting worse over time and 2 years of being actively suicidal. Im 26.

Since i remember "being". Around prepubescent years when i started to note i was different, which made kids treat me different. It kinda just fucks you up growing up thinking "it doesn't matter, i will die soon anyway".

Since I was 16, about 15 years ago. There have been times since then when I haven't thought about it much, but there has never been a time when I've been glad to be alive.
