How I will Know When I'm Ready

I think I'll know when I'm ready when the pain of the suicide is less than the pain of living. When I no longer care how bad it hurts or how scary it will be.

The only thing that is disappointing about suicide is that you'll never actually feel the relief or the peace. You'll not exist anymore. You don't feel anything. So ultimately there is no real satisfaction in dying. Dying has to be the solution to an inescapable hell, not to find relief.

There can be a satisfaction before the act in knowing that we are taking our fate into our own hands and refusing to be a pawn under the control of others. But yeah after death there is no satisfaction or dissatisfaction, there's just nothing. Which is both a pro and a con. Pro- not having to feel anymore. Con- not being able to feel the satisfaction of not having to feel anymore.

I think your right when the pain becomes unbearable and you feel the only solution is death that's when we ctb, but as for satisfaction who knows what awaits us it could be nothing so we just don't exist but on the other hand it could be paradise, we won't know for sure until it happens but it will happen to all living things one day.
