Sodium nitrite is a chemical that deprives your body's cells of oxygen. That is why people who have committed suicide with sodium nitrite are found with brown blood and blue skin. Sodium nitrite is a salt, and people who have committed suicide with this chemical usually mix it with water.
Generally, if you commit suicide with sodium nitrite, it would be best to combine it with antiemetics, which is a type of drug that would prevent you from vomiting. Your body will sense that you have ingested a toxic chemical, and the natural impulse will be to vomit (many people who have attempted suicide with Sodium nitrite report feeling nauseous). Antiemetics will help overcome that urge to vomit, which will in turn increase the chances that you will succeed.

Thank you, you explained that well.
