Discussion How do you get out of bed every morning?

I've haven't been able to find a reason to get out of bed. I have no motivation or will to live or try in life. People are always saying you'll find a reason to keep going but after I lost everything that makes me happy i can't give a damn. What gets you up in the morning? What forces you out of bed if anything?

I only get out of beds the days I have to work because I don't want to be homeless. I don't have family, so I don't have a choice. The days I don't work, I sleep all day and take sleeping pills. I barely eat and I'm always so weak. I just hope I'm finally dying. But that's how I survive my days.

Only work, im poor. Plus it may be hope something would change one day. Plus im a man so i have really strong voice inside, i dont want to be useless for society, even when my work is crap and means nothink, this remainds me that i dont want to be useless for parents, when they gone i think i would be on sick note all the time

Not kidding, I have to pee. My bladder is the only thing that gets me up.

Well, usually, my depression/anxiety isn't really active until a while after I get up, so there's a moment of "bliss" making it easier to do things

I only do it because I have to take care of my little shetland pony and my cats. That's it, nothing more.
If it wasn't for them, I would give up completely. But even with all this love in my heart for them, it is still extremely hard. I mean moving my fingers on this phone is hard so....
There's literally zero reason for me to live.

Today I was in my bed up until 18h, I was looking at porn videos I already saw 100 times and doom scrolling X, just trying to keep my brain occupied, it's my mom that told me to get out of bed and go downstairs, what a life :' )

I don't get out of bed every morning, but when I do I usually go out for breakfast and coffee. I also have to get up at some point to take my meds or I'll feel even more miserable. Then I go back to bed, or lay on the couch if I'm feeling more energetic.

I haven't gotten out of bed for months. Only to go to the kitchen or take a shower from time to time because I like it. But if not, I would spend my existence here with my phone

I don't, I get up very late and am always extremely tired in the morning. I don't have a will to live at all, the only reason I do anything is to avoid the extreme suffering that would come otherwise.

I don't unless if I'm forced to by my parents. I stay in bed for as long as I can because doing anything else is so exhausting for me

I don't....i have to do it when I am at a point where I need to clean myself etc...or i probably would stay in bed all the time.

Yeah, like above, its usually that I have to use the bathroom. Im barely aware of what time it is anymore.

I honestly wouldn't bother if it wasn't for my dad waking me up every morning. I would prefer to rot there, but it isn't worth getting him worried or concerned over.
