The rush of blood into your head is already pretty bad in my opinion but it makes partial hanging literally impossible for me. I'm not expecting partial hanging to be completely painless but it's way too bad to go through with it you just get the urge to swallow which hurts even more.

I do need some help though. I believe I used a 1cm wide rope, would I be better off using paracord as I feel it'd do a better job at digging into my neck to compress the arteries

Many people who are set on partial eventually turn to full suspension, myself included, because of how unreliable partial hanging is… Pls look into full suspension, it's much easier and reliable and if you do it right you should lose consciousness in 30 seconds or less

I wrapped a washcloth around the front of my loop so I had no pressure on my trachea. I then tested my rope position and would keep sitting up and readjusting until I could cut off the blood with no pain. I used a 12mm rope.

Why didn't it work through? (If you don't mind me asking)

I'm gonna do full suspension... But this fucking feeling is awful (I've just tried my noose and strangled myself). I guess with full suspension I'll just have no choice and put up with it however it'll go

My SI kicked in. I tried partial by kneeling and leaning forward. I was already unconscious then I suddenly snapped awake and sat up. I got so pissed off I gave up attempting for the day.

The videos I've seen look a lot faster than 30 seconds!
