How do new members utilise the search engine, send private messages / group chat?

I read members can use search engine, private message each other or group chat function,

but why I cannot find those options?

For privacy/security reasons, these functions are unlocked after your account has been around long enough and you've made enough posts. The exact details aren't publicly available but it's not much. Just be patient, keep interacting, and it should become available to you very soon.
