How do i prepare adequately for the case of failure?

As some of you may know from my previous thread, I am going to OD soon on olanzapine with a dosage 2 to 3 times that of the lethal one. I am going to rent a room on a cheap motel and leave my smartphone at home so that I can't be traced. My parents live on another town 3 hours from here so I should be fine on that front.

The point is though that I will be knocked out for a while and once I don't get back to them they are going to mobilize my friends, the police etc. in order to find me and if I don't ctb successfully I will have to reveal myself.

My question is, how do I prepare for this scenario? How can I best avoid going to the psych ward and all the ramifications that come with it?

I'd say act as remorseful as you can. That's what I do. I claimed that I prayed to be better than this, that what I did was stupid and impulsive. I had to stay in psych for a day while they constantly re-evaluated me but if you keep up the same story and answers you'll likely be fine. This is assuming you're even in a conscious state after that kind of overdose, though.

Claim it was an impulsive action; something along the lines of you had a few drinks after a shit day and decided to act on it. State you will not attempt again.

But how will I accommodate the "impulsive situation" lie with the fact that I will have rented a motel room?

Maybe claim you went there to visit a friend / do something for work / take some time to relax.
You could hint that to your family / friends beforehand; don't state where you're going of course just that you're going to stay at some motel or a friends place.
