wow, first of all thanks everyone for the responses. i've never had a community actually listen and give such thoughtful advice before.
Congratulations on reaching your senior year! You've come this far, so what's one more year left? What helped me is starting a new tv show/anime on my first day and then I progress as the tv show/anime does. In my case I watched one episode of a tv show or two episodes of an anime a day, depending on the length. You don't have to be an excellent student, you just need to pass. Maybe journaling might help also? When you pass an exam, reward yourself with something. How are your classmates? Do you have any friends to motivate you?
i like the idea of connecting shows to progress. i actually made a shortlist of anime over the summer that i'd like to watch. if you have any recommendations, hit me :3 rn i'd like to start utena or lain soon, but i always love checking out stuff people like. i've never really consistently journelled, but i could try again... could work. my classmates are fine. honestly, i don't have trouble getting along with people, but i only have one or two close friends, and i'm not sure if they would "get" it.
There are some things you can safely say to him, and some things you can't. (E.g. Don't say "I have a plan to CTB.")
yeah, it just sucks not being honest with the person whose job it is to help me. maybe i'll try to bring up the increased depression without specifying anything about planning to ctb.
Just aim for like a 3.0-2.5 and lie on your resume once you graduate
lol fair enough. c's get degrees. my resume is honestly pretty solid if we ignore the academics... i really believe that college is the main thing holding me back rn.
thanks for the responses. i hope the format of multi-replying works alright.
