Hi! This is my first post :]
Ive been trying to research more info about how to jump correctly into train tracks; like timing, and anything I should know before doing it to prevent people to have enough time or tools to take me out before the train smashes me, lol.
I figured I could find some info here, but im kinda struggling x.x, does anybody have any links, threads, or general advice? Thank you!!

You don't.

There are so many reasons not to do this, the most important one being that it would severely traumatise everyone involved but especially the train driver, first responders, and the passengers if they see or hear any of it. I've read some stories about train drivers who accidentally killed people who most likely committed suicide and those drivers were so traumatised that they were unable to ever drive trains again. It's bloody, gruesome, and even though they aren't to blame for the death, I doubt they'll be able to stop themselves from wondering if they somehow could've stopped the train in time.. possibly for the rest of their life.

You shouldn't commit suicide either way but especially not in a way that is so severely traumatising to people.

It's just not fair.. please don't.

Please don't, it's really not fair to the person who's driving the train. A lot of train drivers are unable to keep working their jobs after a train suicide, and so you would remove innocent people's livelihood just because you're too egoistic to choose a suicide method that doesn't involve other people as perpetrators.

I'm gonna be the odd man out and say if you aren't able to handle suicide then don't be a train driver. You are not suitable for that line of work because there ARE going to be suicides. Just like a police officer or a pilot, conductors should have some thicker skin and brush up on some WPD videos before getting into that line of work. However, if you are going to do it, try and do it when there aren't any civilians watching.

I don't recommend or condone committing suicide.

Every method traumatizes people. Loved ones, first responders, EMTs. The train operator won't see the gruesome part - they're in the cab of the train. I'd be under the wheels.

If I were to go this route, I would find a way to get on the tracks as it approaches. As opposed to jumping in front of it right as it passes. I'd run up and lie on the tracks 10-15 seconds before it passes. Neck across the rail, lights out.

But there are less gruesome and scary methods. I personally wouldn't go with the train.
