• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I don't want to go into too much detail because I'm afraid someone I know may see this, I've been planning to ctb for a long time and I'm most likely going to do it pretty soon because I'm really at my wits end with my living conditions

I have talked to my (long-distance) partner about my plans and obviously they don't want to see me go, we've known each other for a long time and were planning to move in together in the future but I honestly don't see it as feasible given my situation and family and I really can't do this anymore for that long
I really don't want them to be devastated by my (admittedly selfish) choice, but it is final and i just want to soften the blow, I don't want them to think it was their fault or that they could have done something better to prevent it. I don't know if leaving a note afterwards is enough and I wouldn't even know what to write in it
Maybe some of you are in similar situations, I would like to hear what you would do

Sorry about the quality of this post, I'm not really sure why I'm even writing this

No worries, mate! Noticed you're new here as well so welcome! But to the point- I haven't exactly had an experience like this, but ctb always affects a person's partner most. I'm not exactly sure what you could do, but talking to them about it could help? I'm don't know what your specific reasons are, but just bringing it up could spark a conversation that could uncover more things than you'd think. I'm sorry I can't help you more, mate. Wishing you the best.♥️
