How did you first hear about and/or find your way to this site?

Came across the NYT article and SN method. Really can't believe this site has been around as long as it has.
I thought I had the best/most peaceful way of going out, with carbon monoxide from charcoal in sealed room, but hope I didn't miss on ability to buy SN.

Was searching about the fentanyl and benzo method turned out I found the perfect pro choice site to help me follow through.


But because of funds drying up and parents lying to me, I have to choose a more desperate and nasty violent method (12 gauge slug to brain, brain stem)

But rock solid advice here.

I was scrolling on youtube and found the video, when it mentioned the page I went to search hoping to find this site. I found the page whrn looking up for suicide methods, met with a document with some suicide pages; it was really conforting to find this place, all of the people I have seen here seem to be really nice

I find it so ironic that Tantacrul's video was meant to bring awareness and get people away from this site, but he essentially pushed it out to a lot of people who have been looking for something like this. Funny how things work sometimes.

Tantacul's youtube video talking about "suicide prevention" he is a clown he is worried about kids dying but gave many many people this platform to find. Honestly though I gotta thank him as much as he discredited it I decided to take my own look and do my own research. I found a beautiful and loving place I can talk freely. I dont have to decide how to word things. I dont have to think about how to tell people my thoughts. I am free. I can also now be able to find ways to CTB the way I want. This place is like the psychonautwiki of suicide lol. Check yall out

I first heard it from a youtuber, but I join this forum because there is a lot of people that goes by the same feeling as me, here I feel safe to talk about not only about suicide but the hole concept of death, being able to see diferents points of view from the same subject helps me go by my days much easier

I misclicked but I first heard of this site through Tantacrul's video. I hardly knew anything at first and if I may be honest I really believed Tanta's bullshit until I started actually posting here. My initial intention was to have a CTB method on standby in case the world got too dark and I wanted to exit.

I don't know anything about the mods so I've chosen to withhold judgement there. He has thrown a great deal of shade towards them but I find him iffy as a source after being here.

But the frank and open discussion about mental health and suicide among the community has been refreshing. I feel like I can say things here I wouldn't be able to say to my closest friends or family.

To me, it is a tragedy when a good person chooses to CTB. But at the end of the day their life and what they do with it is their choice. And sometimes people suffer so bad they just wanna die. In some cases, they might not get a choice at all.

I think what matters more than just being alive is the quality of one's life and how much they suffer on a daily basis. I want good people to live. But I also know that not everyone has the luxury of living a long, good-quality of life with minimal suffering. And if a peaceful death is the only way to end a person's suffering, I would understand.

Then I watched it, realised he was a dumbass who doesn't understand mental illness, and became relieved since I had finally found a forum with people who do understand.

I was trying to find a self-harm forum to join. I can't remember what I searched, but SaSu was the third result on Google. I've known that in theory at least a few suicide forums must exist, but I was surprised it was so easy to locate- I thought they would be only on the dark web or somewhere else obscure and harder to access.

I ended up giving up on finding a self-harm forum unfortunately, but this place is nice, so I'm still happy I looked.

I found it by NYT, but I think they removed "Sanctioned Suicide" name from it, just mentioned the founders names and vaguely said that this was a forum for suicidal people to find an exit, so I googled their names and found my way here through wikipedia
