I came across an old journal entry and it made me remember. Twice in my life of never being online with my face passed the point of being a kid (privately) kids/teens have asked if I was famous. I am not extremely pretty, I dress plainly, and I try not to draw attention to myself.

So on my block walking one time as a kid two younger kids probably around 7 were out without a parent. When I walked passed they stopped me and asked if I was TikTok famous and I said no but they asked for a hug and just hugged me. Endearing but very uncomfortable because their mom wasn't out. They also asked for a cigarrette before lol I smoked young. I asked where their mother was though.

Then when I was at the aquarium with peak social anxiety. I was enjoying my time and two teens came up to me with their phone out asking if I was famous and if they could get a picture. Ngl I told them they were weird and ran off crying. Maybe the teens were making fun of me but my brother said I look like a tiktok person he just doesn't remember who. He could have been trying to make me feel better.

I just don't get how it has happened twice with two age groups. It makes my paranoia and social anxiety bad because I think back to the teens and I know as and adult I should brush teens off when it is something like that it just is on my mind.
