They can't detect nitrogen in an autopsy. They will have no idea how I died. They'll suspect gas of course but no definitive answer. Yes it will contain 5L of nitrogen and flow at 20L a minute. I'll scrunch the bag and pull it down around my neck and breath it. I should pass out quick will heavily drowsy from the sleeping pills.
I am aware of that fact. I repeat, they will do a full investigation, and they will learn that it was nitrogen. If done correctly, you will pass out in 15-20 seconds from the NITROGEN, which is much faster than any sleeping pill.
Is it because the gas tank will be moved or knocked, or does it have something to do with the way oxygen is gone and blood flow in the person and/or what?
Neither of those. In the PPH, it says never to do it lying down, and THAT IS UNDERLINED. There was a sort of recent attempt that was posted about here, by someone who was curious about the book, but then they decided not to read it. They tried the method lying down, but failed. I think the reason they insist it must be done upright but slightly reclined is that gravity must work with the gas. Gas comes in at the top of the bag, above one's head, and it pushes any remaining oxygen and carbon dioxide down and out of the bag at the opposite end.

ok So I will do it when sitting slightly upright, lying against pillows or something. Man the investigation/autopsy is the only thing that puts me off doing this until I'm probably older and when no one cares about me to report me missing for years. Finding a far away place is difficult without a car, and when I'm reported missing they will find the car near the CTB location and easily find me, even if I travel on foot from the parked location or use a electric bicycle for several km.

I know, Bunny, I know. I know it's hard. You can always wait until you're older, and you can always change your mind.

I've tried it and my brain still felt that it wasn't receiving oxygen. There is still that feeling something isn't right. I'll just use sleeping pills, won't hurt. Any other meds you can recommend ?
No meds at all. That was just you having a panic attack. If you're going to take sleeping pills there's a risk of you not knowing what you're doing anymore. I guess you've heard of Rohypnol, yes? Then you know what it does. There's no sleeping pill in the world that's going to work faster than inert gas.
