Donovan Metayer was a student who survived the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, where 17 people were killed and many others injured. In the following years, he developed serious mental health problems. In Florida, he had been subject to a Risk Protection Order related to his psychiatric condition, which prevented him from purchasing firearms. When this order expired, he was able to legally buy a gun at a local store, and about a week later, he committed suicide with it.

That's a very sad story. Thanks for sharing. PTSD is hell. I suffer from this condition too.

I might argue about PTSD being psychiatric... Just about anything/anyone can benefit from drugs. But things aren't that simple.
You then hopefully know @unluckysadness that good counseling (tho im biased) can usually be more helpful. And thus if "the only reason" for ctb, again, at least an argument can be made for "lack of help/good help". Lol tho again, biased by seeing Florida and thus feeling it likely that any "help" wasn't necessarily "good"... Tho so many judgements here... Plenty of the time, fuck judgement...
