Man to be honest people abandoning others is so fucking unfair and shitty, i know this so well.
My honest advice here is just cut any possible ties with this dude, live life, rebuild slowly, to hell with him because you deserve better honestly.
You dont need to' explain anything really, just know that in this moment i, a random stranger (italian furthermore....) am thinking of you and wish you well with everything.
Take care of yourself and man, to hell with this dumbass, you deserve somebody who actually understands how you feel and supports you.
