Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Not anyone who was close to me. I've lost people to illness and that was ok because I got to say bye and have closure. If somebody I'm close to died suddenly whether from ctb or a car crash or a stroke, it would take me much longer to get over it.
If this is true, you really should intervene. Many people on this forum desire nothing but a true friend who they could tell anything - you could be that friend to him. You could support each other, even. I'm just rambling - you decide ofcourse. I don't even know anything about you guys' friendship anyways.
One of my friends about 20 years ago . Had a nasty marriage break up followed by financial ruin. Depression set in on him and while he was off work he doused himself with Petrol and set himself alight.
