Nope. It did make me realize that I needed an alternative method, as I've found I don't quite have the willpower to shoot myself. My mindset is still pretty much the same, although I will be waiting a little longer now to finish out some family stuff before I cure my meats.

My most recent attempt definitely made me afraid to try again because the consequences of failure were horrible. It's made me a lot more careful about my method, but it also made me sure that I wanted to go through with it. I've had experiences where I've chosen to work on my mental health & suicidal ideations, but with that attempt all I could think about in the ambulance & the hospital was that I wished it had worked

The only impact my attempts have had is on my method of choice. For example, I am now more wary of any method involving the ingestion of poison because I know first-hand how hard it is to prevent vomiting (and also how disgusting poison is). Doesn't mean I've ruled it out as a method, just that I'm more informed about what precautions to take.

It just made me want to try again with a more "intense" method. I woke up from my attempt feeling like I finally had agency for once in my life. It felt so good even though it was very physically uncomfortable. now I just look forward to that moment of feeling myself getting dizzy and slipping away, but I desperately hope it'll carry me somewhere else this time.

Yes. My dumbass will freak out and stop myself. Theres no point in trying(?) until im really extremely ready, point of absolute no return. Tbh i love having a method on hand, its a relief

My failed attempt showed me I was ready to go and could do what I needed. I woke up so disappointed. Did have to switch my method but hopefully my new plan will work.

My failed attempt actually made me feel more comfortable with trying again. I remember feeling a calm warmth wash over me at one point.. but the attempt also helped me realize things I could improve next time to make sure it works.
