I know I've been asking alot of questions. I'm now considering going deep into the woods (no one should be there) behind a store & hanging on a tree. I have some concerns. I think it's an "overhead" something type knot that you wanna do for the noose. I have concerns with getting the right rope, one that could not possibly come loose or snap. Next I am concerned about finding the right branch. & I am concerned about tying the rope to the tree, how can I ensure there is no way that it would come undone? Is there a specific knot? Thank you.
If anyone has rope recs… from Target preferrably. I think I found one but unsure

If you're planning to go that route, search for Dockline Rope on Amazon. This is excellent for hanging. The knot you would want to use is a Slipknot. Also if you don't want to go into the woods just buy a pull up bar from Amazon or online. The pull up bar fastens to a doorway. It's very simple, doesn't need any installation. All you need to do is fasten it to your doorway. I have one myself. You've got to be careful with branches because they might be steady initially and break later on.

Oh, and make as many threads as you want and ask all the questions that you want. Don't feel bad about it. Everyone is happy to hear from you.

Sure Then just get a proper non stretchable rope from target. That should do.Look up a Slipknot video on YouTube. Very simple.

What's difficult is overcoming the survival instinct when you decide to go through with hanging.

Prisoners use shirts, pants and sheets and it works fine for them. I feel like it doesn't have to be a rope. Kate spade hung herself with a scarf. It's more about how much you want to die, and keeping your SI from kicking in if possible.
I really hope we can find peace soon, being on this earth is torture.

Could you explain how a pull up bar fastens to doorway? Do you use screws? I'm having trouble from looking at Amazon descriptions.

No screws. You just have to twist it till it tightens up.The ends will stick to either side of the doorway and you just have to rotate the bar until it tightens. It's very strong, will easily support your weight. I mean you can do pull ups after all. Here is a picture of mine. IMG 3273

Is there a brand/ brands that are more reliable. Everything looks like Amazon generic names.

Yeah, it's all pretty generic stuff to be honest. But trust me, it works. You don't have to worry about quality. They're all just about the same.

So the equipment needed here would be a pull-up bar, a rope, and a door. Right? And a hotel bathroom door could suffice?
