Anyone tried hanging lying down? sounds really comfortable...plus, the max. weight on the noose is 15-18% of bodyweight ...so, for a person weighing 75 kg...it would be 11 kg (15 kg for Trachea Compression)...so, all pressure on carotid...no trachea compression...

How do you hang laying down? Like on your stomach?

Won't you be too near to the ground to possibly free yourself and have a difficult blackout due to the more horizontal position?
Why do you think it's comfortable, because the falling or free hanging part is missing?

I did try, on a bed -with noose attached to wall mounted lamp thing and then to roll over to tighten it- so i was lying down but being strangled-felt like i got quite close-but as with everything- i keep stopping myself at the vital point- also had i passed out - the ligature may have slacked off as i was using my body weight to push in the opposite direction & cause the constriction. If yr talking lying down- maybe that whole Night-Night thing could work-there isnt even a hardware store nr me & i cant get anything sent to where i am - or I would prob be trying to get that equipment. Failing that- dont see why tourniquet couldnt semi-reclined.

I was hoping this is possible too

I've tried that and every other position but my cartoids are too deep. For those who can do it, it can work. I saw a photo of a woman in this position when I googled partial hanging death photos.

You can.... although i just did it standing. I used an exercise band and wrapped it around my neck and basically passed out within seconds. Only reason I woke up is because I fell, landed on my face and woke up throwing up blood.

If I did the exact same thing sitting/lying down I am sure I'd have died

First couple times I didn't but I realised I placed it wrong.

The place that worked for me was from the top of my neck to my Adam's apple. I felt weaker the tighter it got.

I assume placement may be different for others/pressure points depending on their shape but I assume that's the main bit
