I'm sorry life has been so difficult. Did you paint that picture or is it just something you like?

If you were recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, it could be that you're in a depressive episode and once you are stabilized on the right meds you won't feel like this. You also might be (don't be upset with me for saying this please!) making an irrational choice based on being in a depressive episode, but I don't know you or your situation and so I can't possibly really understand what you've been though. I believe you've suffered. I wish I could be an inspiring story about being getting better, but I'm not. It also doesn't mean that there aren't bipolar people out there who get better. It usually takes a few efforts to get the medication regimen right for bipolar people and some of them do well.

For people who are introverts or socially different or have autism, working remotely can always be an option. If you found a way to work remotely, maybe you could leave that group home and you'd be happier, but I don't know your situation, I probably can't understand it.

You are wonderful for expressing yourself in a straightforward fashion like you did, the truth is you recognize I need a friend. Maybe if I had a friend, I wouldn't have gotten to this point. You're hitting the nail on the head, not grasping at straws. Really, goodbye threads do suck because who wants it to be like this? The truth is I want to experience life, real life, but the type of life you get here is mind numbing as you try your best to stay in your lane as you race towards something bright and shiny. It's the competition that kills me and the innate abilities that we are bestowed with while others are left with disability. I honestly appreciate you the most, because you want me to stride forth into better lighting but it feels impossible for me, I'm sorry. I feel like that disabled kid on the playground that nobody wants to bother with, at the end of the day when no one's looking. I thank you for being there to give me fresh perspective, and I'm telling you, if hope was my friend, I would of embraced your advice with a warm hug. There's not a thread of hope left in me to even stitch these wounds together. I see you, I acknowledge and appreciate you.

The mind boggles that you're not drowning in friends. It sounds like normie shit and no doubt you've heard it before but it doesn't make it any less true.

You're smart enough to sense the inherent unfairness in life and you articulate it beautifully. I doubt there's anyone here that would disagree that you display clear and obvious traits of an intelligent and compassionate person. When I was 25 I was quite frankly retarded in comparison.

Hope is flimsy. Rather than just "have hope" I wish you could see your value accurately. You don't have to accomplish anything to earn your value. It'd be great if you had a mom that would tell you that. I'm sorry you don't.
