It appears that there are no N suppliers in my country so I can only order it from abroad. What are the chances that it will make it through customs?

What country are you from?
N from A (liquid) appears to have more success in delivery to north america.
N from C, i don't know. But powders often do get through customs.

Since December, after all the raids, I've seen no one even daring to order from A in Europe. At least, no reported testimonials. If some do, they keep it private, or communicate via PM. It's regretful not to learn about the state of affairs

It looks like N from C is your only option. What reputation have russian customs control got? Small amounts of powders very often get through customs, especially when it's not 1 of the common recreational drugs that can easily be tested for.
