Has anyone done the genetic testing for anxiety or depression to see what meds would most likely work best for them?

I've talked about it with my psychiatrist, but I think it's crazy expensive, right?

They test your genetics to get information on you to see what meds will most likely help you and etc from what I understand

Yes. I had a mouth swab at my psychiatrists office. The test came back with three columns. It showed: no risk, moderate risk and risk do not take. Then the medications were listed under each category. I had five medications on the column of no risk and four of them i hadn't tried. I recommend the testing, it doesn't hurt to know. Of course, some doctors don't believe in it.
