Thanks its an argon regulator I'm assuming it can be used on a nitrogen cylinder too?

yes but with two caveats:
- you have to make sure the connection (thread) is ok and tight
- due to density differences, the flowmeter will show different value (flow mismatch). If on argon regulator you put 10l/min, nitrogen real flow will be around 17l/min.

So instead of putting 15 Lpm, set it on 10-12 Lpm.
