I have a firearm and it took a few times of pulling the trigger to get it to fire. I know squat about guns and don't know how to fix that. I also have the materials for hanging. I think I could do hanging without getting found in time... but then the firearm is quicker... and the firearm is also more violent. If I can do hanging and know I won't be found in time, should I just go ahead and do that?

What type of firearm and what caliber / gauge is it? Also, what kind of ammunition are you using?

The firearm without hesitation! I was actually planning to CTB that way last year until some shit went down that I discussed on here already.

I wouldn't recommend anything less than a BRAND NEW 12 gauge with 00 buckshot or PDX1 defender ammo. Aim at the roof of your mouth if you're gonna do it. You can't afford to fuck up using a method like this.

A .50 caliber black powder rifle. I cannot buy any other kind of firearm. My state also requires background checks on private sales and I'm not willing to go through all of the trouble of trying to get a gun illegally. I also have .50 caliber hollow point bullets.

A .50 caliber ought to be enough power to get the job done. As usual aim towards the upper back of your mouth at a 15 degree angle. You want to hit as close to the cerebellum and brain stem as possible for maximum effectiveness. I think it's a valid method in your case, as even if it takes a few pulls, it only needs to fire once.

That's true. My main concern is how violent it is and I kept having to unload the primer and put in a new primer. I'm worried about it going off while I'm loading a new primer which could result in property damage or getting injured, but not killed. I don't think I would get found while hanging.

Both good concerns. It's one of the reasons I'm taking my shotgun somewhere fairly remote so that there's no risk of damage. (Also I suppose enough time to bleed out if I fail)

Good luck! I hope it works out.
