Cost me half a month's salary, a third of it for bribes to corrupt pos pencil pushers in my piece of shit country, but it's done. I feel a bit more freer knowing that when I'm gone my parents will have some money to tide them over.

I'm not sure what "half a month's salary" means in your country, but I'd say definitely worth it, no matter what. You should feel a lot better knowing your assets go to whom you want. Good move.
