Hi. I'm doing my best lately to stand up for myself and speak truth to power. Knowing that I will not have to live long with any negative consequences is liberating. It also feels less painful to express myself rather than let people and institutions get away with bad behaviour. It's not making me popular but it feels necessary.

Unfortunately this will always be the case whenever the truth is spoken. If truth was a person it would have few friends, some people prefer the comforting embrace of lies.
