Discussion Fear of Death

Not afraid of it, as I believe it is the state of being before we were born. Did you fear not being alive before you were born? No because you didn't know you were dead in the sense of not being alive. Death is a long eternal sleep from which you never wake up. Anything more is just the human brain's attempt driven by ego to rationalise its own insignificance.

I'm only afraid of the method, not the outcome.

I really don't care anymore. I used to be afraid of the outcome - if i would actually be able to do it without just damaging myself -, but now i just want to drift off into eternity, doesn't matter what happens. With a good, reliable and agressive method (like shotting yourself to the head with a shotgun or a revolver with hollow points) you should be ok. Death is destruction, assuring destruction is all you gatta do. Fearing death means nothing anymore.
